Big Day at Rocky Mountain National Park

Note from the Editor in Chief (Amanda, obvi): This is Travis’ first blog post on our family blog, hallelujah! ; )

Yesterday, we spent the day at Rocky Mountain National Park for Kyle’s sixth birthday. We were going to go on his actual birthday this coming Thursday, but it’s supposed to snow a foot at the park that day, so we bumped it up a few days.

We had a saw beautiful views, hiked, played in the snow, and saw plenty of wildlife, including: elk, mule deer, bighorn sheep, several turkeys, trout, geese, and ducks.

Some of the wildlife pictures below aren’t the best quality (aka zoomed-in on an iPhone), but hey, the best camera is the one you have with you!
